What I’m Loving Now: Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream
So, it’s no secret that I’m the poster child for hair abuse. I really should take great care of my hair on a consistent basis. About my hair: frizzy, fine, stubborn curl pattern, grey, thinning and in general I’m not a fan of my own head of hair. It’s one of the reasons why I often wear a hair weave. I have lost all inclination to pampering my hair on a daily and nightly basis. #toomuchwork
I do however have a penchant for conditioners, particularly leave-in conditioners and daily use hair creams. For the section of my hair that “peeks” out of my weave, I am sure to keep it well-hydrated because of all the aforementioned hair issues. I have recently been using Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Cream on my hair every few days. And, wow. I can’t believe the difference it has made in my frizz-factor hair.
All about Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream $16:
Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream is an intensely hydrating hair cream and dressing that also moisturizes and nourishes the scalp. Filled with Shea Butter, Aloe Vera Gel, Argan Oil and Acai Powder.
My results:
Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Cream is truly super-duper! There are little chunks of Shea butter in the product, so I had to emulsify the cream is in my hands before applying to my hair. At first, I was dismayed by having to do that. But, I found that even though I had those bits of product not always blended well into my hair, after brushing or applying heat they melted right into my hair.
And what a wonderful job of hydration Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Cream does. Ordinarily, my hair cannot absorb a heavy cream, but it did so well with Karen’s. It was unbelievable to me at first. My hair was extremely manageable. Even in cold or rainy weather my hair stayed frizz-free and well-conditioned.
While in New York recently, I started using this super-duper hydrator on my edges as well, as I was wearing a hat daily. And I had more great results–I found that it prevented the edges of my hair from breaking, splitting or drying out.
Another benefit I noticed from Karen’s Body Beautiful Super Duper Hydrating Cream, was that when I washed my hair after using saturating it during the week, my hair was in improved condition. I let it air-dry, and the texture was wavy and frizz-free as my hair should always be with proper care.
I really can’t see myself going without this product in my hair care arsenal from now on.

Ok when u say heavy do u mean not a lot of water in it? My problem is my hair decides sometimes to be frizzy and I have these edges that like to feel the breeze so they are prone to fly everwhere whether I want it or not. Some creams are so light that having no chemical to keep it straight they wave and curl it right back up after ive taken forever to dry and flatiron it striaght. So whats your take? Any advice other than to try it and see how it works? Im already a makeup hair product junkie. Smh
