What I’m Loving Now: Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Retexturizing Peel

When I had my skincare practice, my most popular service was glycolic peels. It was the time when alpha hydroxy acids were all the rage, and peels were the key to beautiful skin. To this day, glycolic acid is probably my favorite ingredients for skincare. I love the way my skin responds to it and how it helps other skincare products work more efficiently.

I was recently sent Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Retexturizing Peel to review.  And I’m SOLD.

About  Avon Anew Clinical Advanced Retexturizing Peel $25:

Avon anew clinical resurfacing peelAn at-home peel. Now, in 1 easy step! See results superior to a professional 35% glycolic peel at home.* The advanced exfoliator safely visibly retexturizes and resurfaces skin. Formulated with soothing botanicals, it cleanses and refreshes skin.

Peels away dullness and visible age damage so healthier looking skin can surface. 30 unscented pads.

TO USE: Glide over face. Let dry (don’t wash off). Use AM or PM after cleansing, 2-3 times a week.

My results:

The day I received these glycolic pads, I started using them.  My skin is rather tough–used to chemical peels, so I started out with once a day use, even though the instructions say 2-3 times per week.  I use them at night, then layer my treatment and moisturizer on top.  I do not recommend that for everyone, you have to know your skin.  The benefit to using more often is of course, quicker results.

Speaking of results, my skin is clear, bright and pores are refined.  There is a slight tingle when using these pads, but that’s normal.  If you use them and have more serious burning, then you need to discontinue use.

They are easy to use, just swipe and toss. DO NOT RINSE off.  I had someone tell me they were not having results with a similar product, and the point of putting the glycolic on, is to leave it on and let it do it’s job.

If you have rough texture, hyperpigmentation, acne, enlarged pores, fine lines — you will probably find that you will have great results with this at home peel kit.  I am in love with it. 5 Blings!
