Team 20/20 Product Review: Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder—Mink

Jane Iredale has an fantastic product, Amazing Base. Get it? Get it? Yes, it is amazing and, Boy, did it hold up!

Here is the claim:

An incredible loose mineral foundation with UVA/UVB broad-spectrum sun protection. The look is creamy and luminous. The feel is like silk.
• Provides exceptional coverage of any distraction including redness and brown spots
• Free of oil, talc, dyes and parabens
• Ideal for those who suffer from skin conditions such as eczema and rosacea
• UVA/UVB SPF 20 gives broad-spectrum sun protection
• Very water-resistant formula

Just any old average loose mineral powder? Not a chance! With Amazing Base, the powder was high quality, making the build up for full coverage a breeze. I even cheated and used it for contouring too!

Through 12 hours of activity, ranging from idle time to hugs, kisses and brisk walks, what stood out the most was how well the product settled into the skin. Little product transferred throughout the day, as well, proving to be an amazing feat in the sea of people.

Here's my only gripe, and it's pretty shallow. When I saw the outside packaging… I instantly lost interest. This is not an attention grabber, which at the same time, may be the very reason why I ended up loving it so much! Solution? I just Ex-nay'ed on the box, ay!

Once it was opened, the troubles melted away.

You don't need any special tools, no company specific patented 'your face will fall off if you don't use my brush' shaboz. It just works! Jane Iredale Amazing Base held up it's end of the deal. Round of Applause!
