Skin Care Review: DHC Concentrated Eye Cream
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."I started using eye cream around the time I started by esthetics practice in my early 30s. I had to practice what I preached! Since that time, about 30 years, I have been religious about my eye cream usage — day and night, no exceptions. And, I have found that not all eye creams are created equal — some over promise and under deliver and vice versa. I prefer one that promises and delivers, but every so often I am pleasantly by and eye cream that isn’t heavy on the braggadocio, but heavy on results. I found that with DHC Concentrated Eye Cream. About DHC Concentrated Eye Cream $35 Targets dryness and fine lines. Potent formula includes vitamin E and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate and address crow’s–feet. Botanicals, including horse chestnut, cucumber, and ginseng help soothe. My results: DHC Concentrated Eye Cream claims to target fine lines and dryness, and it most certainly does that. Plus more… I am constantly battling dryness under my eyes because I have allergies and I’m constantly rubbing under my eyes and so on. So, I expect and eye cream that claims to moisturize does just that, which DHC Concentrated Eye Cream does and excellent job of. I have a touch test for the efficacy of my eye creams — my eye area has to feel moist to the touch a few hours after applying it. Unfortunately, most eye creams don’t stand up to that test, but DHC Concentrated Eye Cream does! On top of that, it address my dark circles and puffiness. Big props for that! I also have extremely sensitive eyes so that many eye creams I have used in the past leave me looking worse that I started out, but I have to say that DHC Concentrated Eye Cream is great for those who have sensitive eyes. I love that the DHC line of skin care incorporates olive in it’s products as it is similar to the natural oils in our skin and simply works so well I don’t have lines (yet) under my eyes, so I can’t speak to it’s efficacy in that area. Overall, I really like this eye cream because of the ingredients, the delivery on claims and price point.
