Product Review—Skincare: Santalia Intensive Spot Treatment

I have acne prone skin, and I break out very easily, so I am no stranger to spot acne treatments. They are targeted treatments that work quickly to get pimples under control. My most recent spot treatment that I had great results with is Santalia Intensive Spot Treatment.

Santalia’s product line is about using sandalwood as a key ingredient.
Sandalwood oil is many times more effective at controlling bacteria, stopping inflammation, and restoring balance to the skin than other botanical extracts or essential oils.

My results:

After cleansing my face for the evening, I applied Santalia’s Intensive Spot Treatment to a twin set of pimples just to the left of my chin. The Sandalwood scent was pungent, but not too serious. It also “tingled” a bit, but that wasn’t very bad either. I went to bed to let Santalia’s Intensive Spot Treatment work its magic undisturbed for the night.

By morning my “twins’ were sizably reduced! WONDERFUL!

During my morning routine, I applied Santalia’s Intensive Spot Treatment and then a broad spectrum SPF moisturizer (we MUST protect our skin at all times… even brown skin).

I didn’t notice any change during the day. But that was okay, I applied Santalia’s Intensive Spot Treatment again overnight. Santalia’s Intensive Spot Treatment doesn’t specify day or night, nor does it tell you how often, but it seems to be gentle enough to use frequently.

My Day 2 results were even better. My “twins” were practically gone! I repeated my day regime and later that day, my evening routine.

By Day 3 my “twins” were gone! They were completely gone! The pimples simply flattened out and went away. No pimples “coming to a head” and no unsightly pustules! Oh happy day!
