Product Review-Skin Care: Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème – The Perfect Moisturizer for Spring

Spring is in the air, and although you may want to skimp on skin care necessities like moisturizer, I don’t advise it. What I do recommend, however, is that you change up your skin care routine a bit. Try a moisturizer that’s lightweight, but packs a punch.  And guess what? I have the inside track on one of the best moisturizers you can treat your skin to this spring. I’m talking about Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème. It’s perfectly lovely.

The details about Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème $68

Laura mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing CrèmeThis light, whipped Nourishing Crème supremely hydrates skin, helping to replenish and balance skin’s moisture during the day and restore skin’s natural radiance and softness at night.

Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème helps:

– Rejuvenate skin’s appearance and strengthen its moisture barrier

– Intensely moisturize and condition with Mango and Shea Butters.

Why I love it:

It was love at first whiff with Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème. The scent of rose is soft, rather faint, yet appealing. Not like your grandma’s rose… Next is the lovely texture of this moisturizer.  It’s whipped, so it’s lightweight, almost reminiscent of a gel cream. And when it touches your face, it’s an amazing sensation.

While Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème feels rich and luxurious, it doesn’t wear that way. Rather, it sinks right into your skin, leaving it feeling moist and hydrated, not heavy, greasy or sticky. The best part of the moisturizer though, is that is keeps your skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. And when applied at night, you wake up to beautiful radiant skin.

I think that most skin types can use this moisturizer, even oily and combination.  The mango and shea butters in the moisturizer are not comodegenic and it’s so lightweight, that the skin simply feels plump and nourished. I have normal-to-dry skin, and I find that the moisture content is appropriate.

I feel like my skin is firmer after using this moisturizer for over 30 days, and that my skin has an overall better condition. The only caveat is that it does not contain an SPF, so I recommend using a foundation with a sunscreen in the formula. Like Laura Mercier’s!
