Product Review—Makeup: theBalm CabanaBoy Shadow/Blush

Blush, giggle and smile! I love finding a blush that compliments my complexion even when I am not wearing foundation. theBalm CabanaBoy  Shadow/Blush is a beautifully pigmented blush that does just that.

Here are the details about theBalm CabanaBoy  Shadow/Blush $21

cabana boyWhat it is:

There are a few occasions in life when we blush naturally, like when we run into an old crush or make eye contact with a handsome stranger. Since those events happen rarely, we like to fake it with this flirtatious blush. The ultra-fine powder blends seamlessly into your skin, while the dusty rose hue gives it a natural flush. Plus, it comes in an adorable compact with a built-in mirror and can double as lovely eye shadow.

How it works:

While many blushes contain undesirable ingredients like synthetic colors and parabens, theBalm®’s blushes are thoughtfully formulated to respect your skin. The satiny powder goes on evenly, leaving a uniform flush. Light-reflecting silica particles minimize blemishes and other imperfections.

My Experience:

I was given theBalm CabanaBoy  Shadow/Blush in exchange for an honest review.

theBalm CabanaBoy  Shadow/Blush is a rosy pink with shimmery golden undertone blush as well as shadow. It is highly pigmented and rich in color. It has a nice texture and super easy to blend. The packaging is decorative and has an old school retro design with a compact mirror which is super cute and funky; but if carried around in your purse, the hustle and bustle of a busy day may cause some of the blush to become scattered – and we never want that!

I have medium to light brown skin; finding a blushing that won’t create that clown-faced-look, well…, is sometimes a bit of a challenge. However, theBalm CabanaBoy Shadow/Blush is wonderfully made for a variety of skin tones. A little goes a long way, so you can achieve the daily wear look or the dramatic night on the town look. Either way, I love this blush/shadow – it’s really pretty.

Give theBalm CabanaBoy  Shadow/Blush a try and let me know what you think!
