Pretty in Pink — Top 5 Perfectly Pink Beauty Buys

I love pink, I’m 100% girlie girl.  Just look at the theme of my blog — all that pink.   I mean I love the color pink, not the singer Pink.  I like her, don’t love her.  Okay, sorry got a little distracted.  Maybe because it’s because my daughter has got Justin Timberlake playing n the background and I’m doing my outdated cabbage patch instead of focusing on the subject at hand — pink beauty goodies.

Why pink?  There probably isn’t another color that just makes women look so alive.  Well, maybe red, but that’s a whole different blog post.  Pink is fresh, its sweet, its lively, its hot,  its iconic and on occasion it can be naughty.

So here I go again with my top 5 list.  These are my top 5 pink picks for your best pink beauty bling.

1.  Benefit Dandelion

I just rediscoverd Benefit Dandelion.  It is a gorgeous pink powder for which I used to have a complete obsession.  Even though I have yellow undertones in my skin, it works!  Dandelion is an ideal powder for waking up the skin and giving it that perky glow. And how cute is that little square box? Dandelion is the perfect pink powder for sallow skin pick-me-up.  A must pink beauty buy.

One tip, the brush in the box is cute, but I prefer application with a big fluffy blush or powder brush.

Product Description:
Start your day the “perk-me-up” way, and keep them guessing how you look so pretty this early in the morning. Dust on our soft, pink, perk-me-up powder for instant radiance and a youthful appearance. It’s the perfect shade of pink that brightens everyone’s complexion without looking powdery or chalky.

2.  Opi “I Pink I Love you” & “Party in my Cabana” Nail Polish

Nothing says summer like hot pink toe nails.  If you can’t live in South Beach, at least your feet can pretend.  Party in my Cabana is hot pink that will make your tootsies look cute in your flip flops or 4 inch Jimmy Choo sandals.  And of course, I love the nude pinks for fingernails.  I pink I do is a soft “bridal” color that works well on all skin tones.

3.  Luster Pink Lotion

I don’t think there is a sistah out there who hasn’t used Pink Lotion.  I forget about it and get on some other hair product bandwagon, but always come back.  This is a staple for keeping natural or relaxed hair in prime condition.  I remember starting my girls out on this as an everyday hair moisturizer when they were in braids and pigtails.  Today is still has the same benefits.  Anyone with dry or frizzy hair can benefit from the wonderful ingredients.

5.  Christian Louboutin Mirrored Pump in Fuschia

My pink category wouldn’t be complete without a pair of gorgeous shoes.  These shoes are in pink bling overdrive.  I think these Louboutin’s may be all the pink beauty I need.  My feet would be pink poetry in motion.  Definitely ka-ching bling.
