Monday Morning Must Haves: Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser

With Monday mornings being an extra struggle, I’m always on the hunt for products that make my life easier and give me a lift for the day. Most important for starting my day is my skin care ritual. I have to admit, that sometimes I skimp and and to the least possible, but for some reason, Mondays seem to be the day to do my “power” regimen. This week, my cleanser of choice is Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser, and it’s my Monday Morning Must Have for the week. I’m in love with this cleanser…

About Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser $22 for 30 packets:

honest-beauty-powder-cleanser-2Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser contains chamomile, calendula and aloe to calm and soothe. Aspen bark gently exfoliates, leaving skin smoother and brighter. Zea mays, oat and rice powder help to absorb excess oil keeping skin balanced. Power to the powder!

Made without talc, parabens, formaldehyde carriers, PEGs, PPGs, propylene glycol, silicones, synthetic fragrances, or dyes.

Why it’s a must have:

I love it when my skin feels super clean, so that’s probably why I’m such an advocate of not skimping on the cleansing part of your skin care regimen. So, of course, it’s necessary to find an appropriate cleanser for your skin type. Well, I think that  Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser may very well be the cleanser that everyone can use. (Unless of course, you are allergic to some of the natural ingredients in the cleanser).

This cleanser is pre-measured so you don’t have to worry about using too much or too little. Love that. Additionally, the individual packets keep the product clean and sterile for future uses, not to mention that it’s ideal for travel!

Using this powder cleanser is so simple — just empty the packet in the palm of your hand, and add water! Mix a little bit and then massage into skin. I happen to prefer an exfoliating feel to my cleanser if at all possible, so I don’t wet my skin prior to use. However, you may want to massage this cleanser into wet skin. I find that my skin looks and feels so clean, soft and bright after using Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser, and over time it only gets better.

While you have the benefits of exfoliating, you don’t feel any harshness or irritation from this cleanser. I don’t have oily skin, but I imagine for for someone with oily skin, they would love that it contains rice powder to help absorb oil.

Bonus points for being a company that is socially conscious and dedicated to bring the best products for consumers and the planet to market.
