Get the Look: Tina Knowles—Hot Mama!

Yes indeed, 50 is the new 40.

Take a look at Tina Knowles, the woman who gave Beyoncé that dynamite diva DNA. Knowles, the "designing woman" who is the genius behind Déreon, is looking über hot at Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research Angel Ball 2011 at Cipriani, Wall Street on October 17, 2011 in New York City.

A woman has to have a beautiful basic canvas to frame—and, despite the nip/tuck rumors, that is exactly what Tina Knowles possesses.  Her skin is glowing (and yes, showing signs of a lift), her hair is flawless, the makeup soft and subtle,  and the gown is gorgeous.

Get the look:

1.  Glowing Skin

For skin over 50, it's important to nourish and protect it.

Try: Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Facial Serum

What it is:
A high-performance antiaging serum formulated with biodynamic and organic ingredients.

What it is formulated to do:
Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Facial Serum brightens and evens skintone, firms the skin, and offers moisture and protection against free-radical damage.

2.  Soft Subtle Makeup

Skin over 50 should be dewy, not matte.  Try a foundation or tinted moisturizer that allow the skin to glow, and does not mask it.

Try: Tarte ReCreate™ Anti-Aging Foundation With Wrinkle Rewind™ Technology SPF 15

Try: Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation

What it is:
A high-definition mineral makeup cream foundation that applies like a liquid.

What it does:
Provides the superior buildable coverage of a cream with the natural-looking, sheer finish of a liquid foundation. Two types of light-reflecting powder particles work together to diffuse fine lines, pores and uneven skin surfaces.

3. Add Color

When you hit 50, you need a flush of color that says, "I'm alive and vibrant!"  Tina is wearing a beautiful coral blush that compliments her skin tone.

Try:  Laura Geller Blush n Brighten in Golden Apricot

What it is:

A baked blush of marbleized pigments are swirled together in a soft, silky, powder.

What it does:

Adds color and glow.  Light diffusers minimize skin imperfections.

4. Define Eyes

Apply a liner close to lash line and wing out the corners of the eye to lift and elongate.  Use a soft bronze and browns to subtly contour and highlight eyes. Apply 2 coats of mascara on upper lashes.

Try: LANCÔME Color Design 5 Shadow and Liner Palette in Bronze Amour

What it is:
An all-in-one five-shadow palette for brightening the eyes.

What it does:
Silky, lustrous, long-wearing powders of pure color with a radiant finish. Contour, sculpt, and lift with soft day colors or intensify your look with dramatic evening hues for smoky effects.

5. Perfect Lips

A coral lipstick that coordinates with the coral blush is completely age-appropriate.  Plus the glossy coral lip adds a touch of sparkle to Tina's look.

Try: Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in Sunny Citrus

What it is:

Long-wearing, stay-true, lightweight, creamy texture lipstick for maximum color impact that lasts.

Enhanced with vitamin E and a vitamin C derivative to help defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals.
