Fierce Friday: Get the Blues like Nicki Minaj
No, we are not talking about B. B. King blues. We are talking beauty blues…
It’s Fierce Friday! One of the fiercest makeup looks I have seen of late is a blast of blue eyeshadow. Beyoncé was working it on her Daze and Confused cover and Zoe Saldana was wearing a banging blue eye when she covered Russian Harper’s Bazaar.
However, working the blue eyeshadow the hardest is our girl Nicki Minaj. I suppose when one thinks of Nicki we think ‘THINK PINK”, but when she’s rocking the blue hair paired with her baby blues, she is a stand-out.
To get Nicki’s look, be sure apply foundation for a flawless face and highlight with a pale pink blush.
For eyes, prep with a primer like Too Faced Shadow Insurance, then line with your favorite black liner. Apply blue shadow up to the crease, finish with a nude matte shadow on the brow bone. Groom brows and generously slick your lips with M.A.C Nicki Minaj Pink Friday 4 lipstick.
Apply faux lashes or volumizing mascara and you are good to go. Well, except for the blue hair.
