Budget Beauty Tuesday: Editor’s Pick—Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea All Natural Hair Balm

My hair is needs daily moisturizing and it is very picky about what works. I would love to say that my hair has the Goldilocks syndrome.  Most hair products are too much or too little, and it’s hard to find one that’s just right.  But on occasion I do score with a hair moisturizer that does the job for my hair without weighing it down.

Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea All Natural Hair Balm is perfect for my hair because unlike the name — balm– it is lightweight and absorbs easily.

Here are the deets about Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Hair Balm:

coconut-hair-balm-2_1024x1024Coconut Shea All Natural Hair Balm restores and moisturizes hair with a creamy balm infused with Coconut Oil and Shea Butter. This tropically scented balm nourishes hair, resulting in less breakage, leaving hair feeling soft and smooth.
Ingredients
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Parfum, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, BHT, BHA
My results:
I wear a partial weave with the front part of my hair out. Needless to say, blow drying, flat ironing and using a curling iron does dry out my hair, but recently I have been using this balm daily. I apply to my hair around the edges and on the ends and brush through. Days when I use heat, this balm acts as a protectant and my hair does beautifully with it. Other times I just throw on a head band and brush my hair back and I am so pleased that this balm keeps my unruly gray hairs in control.
Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Hair Balm is meant to be used on dry hair, but I have cheated an used it on my hair while slightly damp and since my hair is fine, it just makes my ponytail (my hair and “other” hair) blend beautifully. I love that it does not contain water — just oils.
I would also like to note that my daughter who has coarser hair does her twist with this hair balm and has  wonderful results.

I am a sucker for anything containing anything coconut oil. I love trying new hair products and this sounds really good. Good to know that it doesn’t contain water, I like products like that.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
