Skin Care Review: AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo

Update: The Acnefree Duo is no longer available, but the cleanser is.

I looked at my 17 year-old daughter the other day and realized her skin had done a 180–for the better. Since I’m always pushing skin care down her throat, I had to ask what she had been using. I managed to get “AcneFree” out of her. After further probing, I found out that she had religiously been using her AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo. Well, as an esthetician and skin care fanatic, I was excited to see that she found a product she could stick with and that would give her fabulous results.  That’s why AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo is our Budget Beauty Pick this week.

Here are the details about AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo $19.99:

Cleans 15x better than the leading facial cleanser alone

The AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo combines a two-speed, rotating brush and an oil-free acne cleanser to gently exfoliate and deep clean, leaving your skin feeling beautifully smooth and soft. Together, the AcneFree Cleansing Duo provide a complete daily acne cleansing system. Micro-sized Benzoyl Peroxide is designed to reach faster and deeper into pores without the harshness and over-drying that can occur with ordinary Benzoyl Peroxide.

Recent clinical trials found that the leading facial cleanser only removed 35% of the foundation used to mimic dirt, oil and makeup. The AcneFree Advanced Cleansing Duo removed 96% of the dirt and oil, leaving skin 15X cleaner than the leading facial cleanser alone*!

Why we picked it:

The obvious — it works. Lindsay’s skin went from being a broken out pimpled mess, to clean clear skin in a matter of a month or so. No doubt, that’s due to the efficacy of the cleanser combined with the deep cleansing power of the cleansing device. My daughter loves that her skin “feels clean but not dry”, as it does with other cleansers formulated for acne.

Not only are the usual pesky surface pimples something of the past, but her blackheads have cleared up and her pores look smaller. Around her nose where there is usual congestion, her skin is clear. This is a first…And, with cleansing brushes costing upwards of $100, to get one with a cleanser for $20 is seriously budget-friendly.

Additionally, it has been an incentive for her to keep using the AcneFree duo  because she sees the benefits of it herself. She also says that “it’s easy to use and I don’t use as much cleanser as I did before.”  So, if you are looking for a cost savings, you will get it with  the AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo. If you are a mom, you can appreciate the value of a product that clears your child’s skin and has a great dollar value as well.
