Fall is here and temperatures is changing rather quickly with the air getting cooler and drier. The transition in weather from summer heat waves to brisk fall air, has a tendency to deplete our skin of moisture. Dry, ashy skin is not attractive, nor is it healthy. To combat dry skin try this easy, natural, DIY sugar scrub recipe which exfoliates dead skin and leaves your skin soft and glowing.
DIY coffee-sugar scrub recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups ground coffee
1/2 cup sugar or sea salt
3 tablespoons olive oil or your favorite oil
Allow about 20-30 minutes to complete this process
Mix coffee, sugar or sea salt, 3 tablespoons of olive oil or your favorite oil (jojoba oil or almond oil) together. Apply to dampened skin.
To remove top layers of skin by, massage the scrub into your skin with gentle circular motions.
This recipe is great for your legs, feet, arms, hands and chest area. Once you are finished exfoliating, rinse. blot dry and follow up with your favorite moisturizer.
You will feel amazing and your skin will thank you for it.
