Ulta 21+ Days of Beauty: The August 30 Deals I’d Actually Shop
Ulta’s 21+ Days of Beauty continues Sunday, August 30, but I’m not shopping the entire sale. I’m narrowing the Beauty Steals down to products and brands I know, trust, have tested—or genuinely want to try. Today’s edit includes tried-and-tested favorites, brands I trust, a BIPOC-founded beauty brand headed to my Testing Table, trending K-beauty and a lash-and-brow brand that keeps getting my attention.
Tracey Tried & Tested: Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation is an easy yes for me. Lancôme is a brand partner, but more importantly, this is a foundation I have actually worn, tested and can recommend based on my own experience. It delivers the kind of polished, dependable complexion finish that has made Teint Idole a longtime favorite.
TRACEY’S TAKE: A sale is when I want to replenish products I already know work. Teint Idole falls squarely into that category.

Tracey Tried & Tested: amika The Wizard Detangling Primer — 5 Blings ★★★★★
amika The Wizard Detangling Primer earns all five Blings from me. I’ve used it, I love it, and most importantly: it works. This is exactly the kind of product I want to call out during a big sale because I’m not guessing about the performance—I can personally recommend it.
TRACEY’S RATING: 5 BLINGS ★★★★★

Tracey Tried & Tested: Fresh Soy Hydrating Face Cleanser — 5 Blings ★★★★★
Fresh Soy Hydrating Face Cleanser is a cult favorite—and one of mine, too. I’ve tried it, tested it and love it. It cleanses without leaving my skin feeling stripped, which is exactly what I want from an everyday cleanser. This is one of those products that has earned its reputation, and at a Beauty Steal price it’s an easy recommendation from me.

Trusted Brand: Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur Hydrating Setting Spray
Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur Hydrating Setting Spray caught my attention because Laura Mercier is a brand I trust for complexion products. This particular setting spray is not one I’m calling tried-and-tested yet, but the combination of makeup setting, hydration and blurring makes it especially interesting to me.
WHY IT MADE MY EDIT: I know the brand. I like the complexion category. And this is exactly the kind of product I’d rather try at a Beauty Steal price.

Testing Table: Live Tinted Legacy Lash Mascara
Live Tinted Legacy Lash Mascara is going straight onto my Testing Table. Live Tinted, founded by Deepica Mutyala, is a BIPOC-founded beauty brand, and I’m interested in seeing how this mascara performs for myself. It’s a mascara-and-lash-serum hybrid designed to volumize, lengthen and curl, which gives me plenty to put to the test.
TESTING TABLE: No verdict yet. I want to wear it, photograph it and see how it holds up before I recommend it.

Trend Watch: K-Beauty Skincare + Makeup
Ulta is also featuring select K-beauty skincare and makeup from brands including belif, Klairs and more. K-beauty continues to be one of the biggest influences on skincare and beauty right now, so this is the part of Sunday’s sale I want to explore rather than automatically recommending everything in the category.
ON MY RADAR: I’ll be looking for formulas and ingredients that bring something interesting to the conversation—not simply products with a K-beauty label.
SHOP: K-Beauty
On My Radar: Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD + GrandeBROW
Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD and GrandeBROW also made my shortlist. I haven’t personally put these through a full BB review, so I’m not labeling them Tracey Tested. But I’ve heard enough positive comments about Grande to make the brand worth a closer look while it’s part of the Beauty Steals.
WHY I’M CURIOUS: Reader and beauty-community feedback can absolutely put a product on my radar. Now I want to see whether the results live up to the conversation.

Beauty Editor’s Note
This is how I’m shopping Ulta’s 21+ Days of Beauty going forward: I’m not trying to cover every product in every sale. I’m editing. Some products make the cut because I’ve tested and recommend them. Some come from brands I trust. Others earn a spot because I genuinely want to investigate them.
That means fewer links—and recommendations with a reason behind them.
Beauty Steals are available while quantities last and offers may vary by store and online.
