What I’m Loving Now: Yu-Be Skin Moisturizing Cream and Socks

I recently did something really stupid. For some reason, I was intent on trying out a Ped Egg.  Mind you, I get regular pedicures and I take care of my feet daily in the shower.  But I was thinking that summer was around the corner and I wanted to have baby-soft feet, foot-model feet, so I was going for the ultimate DIY pedicure using a Ped Egg.

Well, my daughter couldn’t find the “As Seen on TV” Ped Egg, so she bought me the next best thing—Revlon Pedi-Expert Pedicure Kit. Unfortunately, I don’t always exercise moderation when indulging in beauty treatments.  And scraping my feet until they bled with the Revlon Pedicure torture implement (more like a miniature cheese grater), was no exception.

So, I slathered on a first aid cream and put socks on and prayed for the best.  While confined to walking on my tip toes the next day, I realized that I had a product that to review that I hadn’t tried yet, so I grabbed my tube of  Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream and Yu-Be Heel & Elbow Moisturizing Socks and prayed for miracles.

Before I tell you my results, here’s the info on Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream and Yu-Be Heel & Elbow Moisturizing Socks:

What it is:
A concentrated glycerin moisturizing cream.

What it is formulated to do:
Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream soothes and moisturizes dry skin. This glycerin-based cream is enriched with vitamin E, vitamin B2, and camphor. It has a uniquely high glycerin content and absorbability achieved through a special manufacturing process which makes Yu-Be so effective.

Use it to smooth rough, dry patches on hands, elbows, knees, and feet. It softens and reduces tough calluses, including hard, cracked heels, and helps heal and prevent split cuticles. It replenishes lost moisture from water damage or frequent hand washing, helps heal and minimize scarring from burns, and protects and moisturizes skin exposed to cold, wind, and water.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petro-Chemicals
– Phthalates

What else you need to know:
Invented in 1957 by a Japanese pharmacist, Yu-Be is the #1 selling medicated, vitamin-enriched skincare cream in Japan today. Yu-Be is safe and effective for the whole family. The non-greasy formula absorbs quickly and stays locked in for hours.

The moisturizing socks sell for $13 and a jar of cream is $23

So, I slept in the moisturizing socks overnight.  And I wore them non-stop for the next couple days.  It was nothing short of miraculous—my feet were resurrected.  The areas that were damaged from my over-zealous scraping healed, and other skin was moisturized well.

The moisturizing skin cream  also does a fine job at getting cuticles hydrated and nourished.
