What I’m Loving Now: Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Don’t get me wrong — I ALWAYS use primers for my makeup clients, but I tend to be a basic when it come to my daily routine. (Sitting behind a computer does not require flawless makeup) I recently received a tube of Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and I put it to use.
Shadow Insurance does it’s job. It claims to put your shadow on “lock down”, and it does just that. As a matter of fact, I didn’t take my makeup off before I went to bed, and I woke up with my eyeshadow and liner perfectly in tact. But don’ tell anyone.
Your full-coverage insurance policy against all fading, creasing, melting, blurring, oil-slicked and hard-to-blend eye shadow accidents. Our silicone-based eyeshadow primer transforms any eye shadow into a perfectly blendable, color-drenched, intensified version of itself, then locks it down perfectly until you take it off. Our skin soothing formula evens out the skin tone on your lids and smoothes out lines while it secures a barrier between the oils of your skin and your makeup, so no shadow catastrophes will ever happen again.

This is my favorite eyeshadow primer, I bought when the Chocolate Bar Palette was on sale on HSN and received a full size of it and fell in love. I haven’t found anything that performs or that gives me the same results as this. I sometimes even use it to prime my eyebrows and it works miracles at controlling oil there too!
