What I’m Loving Now: Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils

Every beauty-obsessed woman needs an eyeliner.  Or two or three.  There is your basic black eyeliner that's akin to your little black pencil skirt—a must-have in your makeup wardrobe.  Then of course there are eyeliners for a hot night out on the town—sort of like your LBD.  And of course you need your weekend wear eyeliner—like your perfect fitting skinny jeans.

Well, I found my arsenal of eyeliners in the form of jumbo eye liner pencils that do anything I command them to.  They line.  They smudge.  They create smoky eyes in an instant.  They stay in place.  I can work up a sweat in them.  I can sleep in them and wake up looking relatively sexy.

I'm talking about Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils.  I'm not new to these eyeliner gems.  Sue herself introduced me to them many years ago when she launched her line at Sephora.com.  But, I recently received a few to try again, and I'm once again smitten with these double-duty eyeliners.

Here's the 411 on Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil:

The Eye Intensifier Pencil can be applied along the base of the eyelid and bottom lash line for an intense smoky look or may be used to create an effortless "quick-eye" with minimal blending for a maximum effect.

Ceramide 2, Hyaluronic Filling Spheres and Nylon-12 anti-aging ingredients lock in moisture and expand and contract with facial movements without creasing to create a long-lasting, luminous eye.

I recently used these pencils in a photoshoot for a smoky bronze look, and they were so simple and easy to use.

On Brandi Jene, Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil in Tanzania (shimmering bronze) was used along the bottom lash line and smudged up to the upper lash line.

Pointe Noir (black) lined the inner rim of Brandi Jene's lower lash line and the inside of the upper lash line.

My personal favorite is the Pointe Noire with Black Widow (black lavender)  coming in at close second.  I love that I can line my eyes with abandon—just swipe and go.

And since the formula lends itself to smudging, it's quite forgiving.  If you make a mistake, just smudge and go smoky!

The second side of the pencil is a smudger end that enables the liner to adhere to the skin seamlessly.
