What I’m Loving Now: Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream

I love a good hand cream. I think I have been a hand cream junkie since a boyfriend from YEARS ago commented on how soft my hands were. At that time, I immediately stepped up my hand cream game. There are so many hand creams out there that are good, but Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream is great. I was quite excited when I received this hand cream to review, as I love this brand, and I have to say that once again, Soap & Glory did not disappoint. And with this winter weather, all the more need to have a great hand cream.

What it is:
A non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil, and marshmallow.

What it does:
This hand cream softens, smooths, and soothes dry, chapped, or otherwise hampered hands.

Why I love it:

First of all, there is that signature Soap & Glory scent which I just love — it’s as good as wearing a fragrance for the day. Then of course is the claim that it makes on the label — “The Most Astonishing Hand Cream Ever?” Well, the answer is yes. Yes it is, and here’s why:

1. It absorbs and isn’t greasy. Have you ever used a hand cream and were afraid to touch your clothes or a piece of paper because of that greasy residue? Not the case with Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream.

2. It lasts for longer than an hour. I really don’t like wasting product, particularly if it’s one that I’m fond of. So the good news with Hand Food is that is moisturizes for hours. Even after I have washed my hands, there is still a faint bit of moisture on my hands.

3. It conditions my cuticles. This is a biggie. I am the worst abuser of my cuticles. But, when I apply this hand cream, excuse me, hand food, I massage it into my cuticles and it conditions and moisturizes them.

4. Improves the look of my skin. I’m 57, and next to the eyes, they say that the hands are one of the telling areas about your age. I have found that with this hand cream, the overall appearance of my hands is improved with my skin looking younger than it’s chronological age. Woot!
