What I’m Loving Now: Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer

For flawless makeup application, you nearly always need a primer.  I mean unless you are around 10 years old with perfect skin.  Don’t think about being 50 plus.  You need to take a dive in the stuff.  At any rate, I’m here to review Smashbox Photo Finish Luminzing Foundation Primer. I will tell you this up front—it’s a keeper.

I was first introduced to Smashbox primers LAST decade, and have been using them ever since.  I love that Smashbox didn’t stop with the original primer.  Rather, them keep improving the original and adding depth to the category.  I have been using the color correcting primer for my clients who are prone to redness and rosacea for a few years now with fabulous results.

The most recent primer Smashbox added to it’s already fierce arsenal of primers is the Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer. Now I can’t use anything else.  Darn you Smashbox.

Here’s the info on Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer:

What it is:
A luminizing primer that fills in fine lines and pores while imparting a beautiful luminous glow to skin.

What it does:
Create the perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky blend of vitamins and antioxidants that smoothe and perfects skin. It’s formulated with Vitamins A, C, and E ,Grape Seed Extract, and Green Tea for antioxidant protection. Oil-Free.

What else you need to know:

Why I love it:

Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer does all the things a great primer does—fills in pores, disguises fine lines, evens out skin, makes foundation go on flawlessly—plus it brightens the skin and adds a luminous glow.  I use it on myself when I wear foundation.  I have used it on models and brides.  Hands down this is my go-to primer.

The air pump packaging is a plus too—you are able to use all of your product.
