What I’m Loving Now: Pattern LA Tote Bag & Cosmetics Bags—Your Perfect Casual Day Bags

If you are anything like me, you no doubt have a propensity for loading up your purse with too much “stuff.” I swear, every time I leave the house it’s like I’m packing for doomsday. The problem is that all that seemingly necessary stuff is just too much for my purse. That’s why I am loving my new tote bag from Pattern LA.

So, what kind of stuff goes in my tote bag? Notebooks. My “other” pair of shoes (the ones that I walk in or I strut in depending on what I’m doing at the moment.) My safety kit, you know, all that miscellaneous stuff that I might need–safety pins, bobbi pins, tissue, hand sanitizer, my bottle of Tylenol, bathroom seat covers… My makeup bag, the big one.
The wonderful thing about this bag is not only it’s color — black and white, which is my FAVORITE color combination ever, but it looks chic. It’s sturdy. And on the weekends, it is handbag. I really do love it.
Inside are compartments for the usual stuff — cell phone, sunglasses etc. There is zippered section too, where I prefer to keep my wallet.
And there are the cosmetic bags, which I am also crazy about. Mainly because they are way beyond sturdy. Clear, so you can see everything and yet they are made of durable plastic so that they will last a hot minute. Not like the bags that you use for a month or so and they look all yucky. There are two sizes, large and small. They are attractive, and look a heck of a lot better that your standard zip lock bag when going through TSA.

I love tote bags. I have a very plain boring beige one that I always carry with me. I’m looking to upgrade to a much nicer one this spring. I have 3 small children, so little handbags just don’t work for me. I always have my wallet, makeup bag, sanitizer, hand cream, cell phone with me and extras for the kids in my tote. I always carry Tylenol, band aids, wipies, baby lotion (and extra underwear) for my kids. So I need a good strong sturdy tote.

That’s a nice tote. I have the same problem, I overload my bag and I don’t know how to break that habit. Lol
