What I’m Loving Now: Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment—A Drink of Water for Your Skin

Winter 2013 was particularly mean to my skin.  I have “normal-dry” skin, a far cry from my oil slick days.  So, at 55, it has been culture shock to include rich moisturizers into my daily skin care regimen.  It’s even more shocking when after drowning my skin in a gooey layer of moisturizer, it’s still not enough.  However, I recently resolved that problem when I incorporated Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment into my daily skin care routine.

Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive TreatmentAbout Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment $75:

A potent, mineral infused gel containing Kinerase’s exclusive “moisture magnet” that attracts water to thirsty skin cells and then helps keep it locked in long after ordinary moisturizers have stopped working. The result is skin that looks noticeably supple, replenished and more youthful.

This special gel treatment features a unique formulation designed to help protect skin from dehydration and minimize the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Four potent hydrators work together to attract moisture and prevent water loss so your skin is deeply replenished from the inside out.
Hyacare (25%): This form of hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizer with excellent water absorption abilities. Contains the highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid in the Kinerase line.
Lipomoist 2013, a highly effective humectant.

Dex Panthenol / Vitamin B-5, a deep penetrating moisturizer.
Pentavitin acts as a moisture regulator. Its capacity for long-lasting moisture retention make it effective in dry air under low relative humidities. This ingredient may help prevent skin dryness in extreme conditions.

In addition, mineral and plant extracts serve as a holistic stress filter, helping to protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals while helping to soothe dry, stressed skin.
Mala’Kite Extract, a new mineral source for stressed skin, works to protect skin cells from oxidative damage.
Evodiox, a skin soother, developed in traditional Chinese medicine, is designed to improve the appearance of stressed skin.
Kinetin (N6 Furfuryladenine) helps prepare the skin for optimal moisture absorption.
HydraBoost Intensive Treatment may enhance the effectiveness of your favorite Kinerase moisturizer.

My results using  Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment:

I pretty much had love at first drop with this lovely moisture-boosting serum.  The primary humectant (ingredient that attracts moisture) is a  form of hyaluronic acid, which not only serves to keep moisture in the skin, but is also able to regulate itself based on the humidity.  Hyaluronic acid is also found naturally in the body, which makes it such a compatible ingredient for antiaging skin care.

When I use Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment alone, without applying another layer of moisturizer, my skin feels and looks complete.  On those days, I simply use a BB cream or tinted moisturizer before facing the public.  Otherwise, I simply apply another moisturizer.  I am confident that a singular application of Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment is sufficient for later in the spring, and definitely for summer.

This moisture-boosting laced serum makes my skin look plump and feel like velvet.  If I were recommending Kinerase HydraBoost Intensive Treatment in my esthetics practice, I would consider it appropriate for all skin types.  Sensitive skin my have some some irritation from the inclusion of Kinetin in the formula, so I would suggest spot testing.
