I have an unhealthy obsession with eye cream. This disorder started when I turned 40 and decided that I would never have a wrinkle around my eyes. So, the obsession has paid off, I’m 57 and not a wrinkle in sight. However, there is that thing of my having an eye cream on my desk along side hand cream, coffee cup, lip balm and other daily necessities…
I have recently been using Kate Somerville Age Arrest Eye Cream and I’m in love with it.
What it is:
An antiaging treatment with Telo-5™ technology, designed to combat the comprehensive signs of aging around the delicate eye area.
What it is formulated to do:
Age Arrest Eye Cream is the first antiaging eye treatment with Telo-5™ Technology—based on Nobel Prize-winning medical research on the youthful benefits of prolonging the life of telomeres. As we age, skin cell telomeres shorten and critical youth information is lost. Over time, this leads to wrinkles, dryness, and sagging skin. Age Arrest’s advanced formula, based on telomere research, helps to effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles while visibly firming, tightening, and toning the eye area. Kate’s custom light-scattering compound instantly disguises the look of undereye dark circles, leaving skin smooth and youthful-looking.
Why I love Kate Somerville Age Arrest Eye Cream:
Let’s first talk texture. I’m a fan of this Kate Somerville Age Arrest Eye Cream because of the creamy balm-like texture. Some eye creams are too creamy, too thick and tend to sit on top of the skin. Not so with Age Arrest — it feels rich as I apply it, but it penetrates my skin, leaving a light, moist feel under my eyes. Additionally, the hydration from Age Arrest lasts for hours. (I have actually gone a full 12 hours without reapplying to test this.)
I am plagued with dark circles for a plethora of reasons — I drink red win at night, I don’t sleep enough and I have seasonal allergies. We will skip that one about sleeping in my mascara and eyeliner on occasion… What I find from Age Arrest Eye Cream is that my circles are lightened and my skin under my eyes brightened after using this eye cream.
I don’t have any lines around my eyes, but I do have a “frown furrow” by virtue of being a mother of three children, so I take care to apply my eye cream there too and I honestly believe my little line is decreasing.
I am always concerned about keeping my skin firm, and my eye area is definitely toned and firmed by using Kate Somerville Age Arrest Eye Cream. I go through plenty of eye creams for review as a blogger, but Kate Somerville Age Arrest Eye Cream is one that I will be keeping in my personal beauty arsenal!
