Tutorial: How to Create Bold Metallic Smoky Eyes
One of the most popular looks in makeup is the smoky eye. But don’t you get tired of doing the same old look? Typically a palette of gray and black shadows and black eyeliner are the tools we depend on to complete our smoky eye look. However, for spring, I suggest that you try a bright bold smoky eye. In this tutorial, my model, Tatiana is showing the bold metallic smoky eye look. We are using Urban Decay eyeshadows and loose pigments to create this look. 1. Even skin with foundation and concealer. Products used: CoverGirl Nature Luxe foundation #370 Make Up For Ever 5 Camouflage Cream Palette – No. 4 2. Define brows & Prep eyelid with eyeshadow primer Products used: Wet n Wild Brow Kit Too Faced Shadow Insurance 3. Apply color to lid Product used: Urban Decay Loose Pigment in Graffiti–bright green 4. Apply color to crease and lower lash line Product used: Urban Decay Black Palette — Libertine eyeshadow 5. Blend lid and crease colors so that there is no line of demarcation. Blend, blend, blend! 6. Liner upper eyelid and insider lower rim Apply a sheer wash of color to brow bone Products used: Urban Decay 24/7 pencil liner in Zero–included in the Black Palette kit Urban Decay Loose Pigment in Baked — rich bronze 7. Apply mascara (model is wearing her own false eyelashes) 8. Apply blush and lipgloss Products used: Laura Geller Blush n Brighten — Honey Dipped Illamasqua Sheer Lipgloss in Enchant
