Product review rave! So I’m going to do this review a bit differently… instead of delaying the point, I’m going to forgo the introduction and just start with saying: I love VMV Hypoallergenics Illuminants+ Face + Hand + Body + Lotion. Now that that’s out of the way, I can continue on to share all the great features of this product! I figured I should state my bias upfront, just to be fair. VMV Hypoallergenics has a winner here in its Illuminating Face + Hand + Body Lotion. As my moniker suggests, I really like to keep it simple and stick to the basics. Minimal is the word. I love good quality double duty products, and I’ve gotten into the habit of making my own. I have pretty temperamental skin, so when I read that it was good as a facial moisturizer, I shrugged. After a hideous experience years ago, I learned I could never, ever put lotion on my face. While I’m not interested in ‘brightening’ my deep complexion, I do have some dark spots and small blemishes that could use evening out. This is especially useful since I don’t wear foundation or cover-up with any sort of regularity. It is also 100% Fragrance/Preservative Free, and Non-Comedogenic meaning it won’t clog pores! Another plus? VMV’s uses pro-planet packaging. According to the 100% recycled information brochure attached to the recycleable bottle, VMV is “100% skin love” with the environment! They consciously use eco-friendly supplies and cut waste by eliminating boxes whenever possible. What more could you ask for in a body care product? My results: Gave me a nice healthy “glow” without leaving residue Feels great going on, absorbs easily Long lasting moisturizer, somehow managed to smooth out rough areas and hydrate drier skin without being oily Truly an all purpose-product!
