The Minimalist Product Review: Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow™ Face Scrub
In contrast to the self-proclaimed “scrub-aholic,” I rarely exfoliated and was never concerned about it. Occasionally, I would use a face brush and my favorite cleanser to slough off dead skin while showering.
Fast forward a few months, and I’ve officially joined the club! Hi, my name is Terez, and I too am a scrub-aholic. I’m just beginning to accept that I have a problem and need to restrain myself from indulging in my habit multiple times EVERY day. Yes, it’s really that bad, and I blame luxury skincare label Ole Henricksen for my new compulsion.
I was skeptical about Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow™ Face Scrub, but this is like a spa treatment in a 3 oz jar. The sweet and citrusy pomegranate smell is intoxicating, and is the first thing that caught my attention when I wrestled it away from Tracey first shared it with me. Now, I can’t stop!
I took my time on first application, expecting it to be grainy and abrasive like other scrubs I’ve tried and trashed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was different, and feels oh-so-good going on. Hmmm, I’m getting that ‘itch’ again… Reviewing this product is making me want to go exfoliate, but before I go, I’ll give you the rundown on Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow™ Face Scrub.
What it does:
Awakens and brightens the complexion with African red tea, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin, and sweet honey, which lend antioxidant protection and power, while vitamin C, rose hips, and citrus essential oils impart bright radiance.

– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
