Team 20/20 Product Review: Too Faced Amazing Face Oil Free Close-Up Coverage Foundation

I have acne scaring. Every now and then I want to cover those acne scars up… COMPLETELY. Not all foundations are created equally when it comes to covering up acne scars.

Some foundations are too sheer and don’t come close to getting the job done. Then you have the other end of the spectrum, the heavy hitters, which often times are so heavy they end up compounding my acne issue. My most recent attempt at full coverage was with Too Faced Amazing Face Oil-free foundation in Warm Cocoa, and I must say that this attempt was successful!

What it is:
An oil-free, skin-smoothing liquid foundation that provides the illusion of airbrushed skin in seconds.

What it does:
Created with advanced Light Refraction Technology, this weightless foundation visibly reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines by diffusing and reflecting light. Bio Transformed Botanicals soften and relax the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles, while Real Skin Technology allows for close-up perfection.

Product: I like the consistency of this foundation; it is creamy, and is easily applied, similar to a moisturizer. I really love the fact that I don’t have to build up, or apply more than one layer of it.

My Results:

Too Faced Amazing Face Oil-free foundation in Warm Cocoa covers amazingly well. I l really love the fact that this foundation sets quickly and stays matte. I have a tendency to get oily during the day, so staying matte is a major plus for me.

I got full coverage that lasted all day, from my commute on the subway, through the entire workday, and my commute back home, at least 10 hours. The only thing that fell short for me was the color of the foundation. It was a tad too red for me. Other than that, I love the Amazing Face Too Faced gave me!

Packaging: The bottle is adorable and feminine. Its glass, so it may not be one of the things you toss into your makeup bag in your purse.  But it can be recycled and that's a plus.

Bling Factor:

Pros: Pretty packaging, amazing results

Cons: I found that the Warm Cocoa, the darkest shade in this line of foundation, was a little too red for me.

Price: $36

Buy again: Maybe… I would love to see more range in the darker colors!

Packaging: 5 blings

Overall: 4 Blings

Try it, you'll like it!
