Team 20/20 Product Review: Jane Carter Solution Curl Defining Cream

Unlike most natural hair care products designed to enhance curls, Jane Carter’s Curl Defining Cream really does the trick for me.

I have thick, curly-slightly kinky hair, so wearing it natural can be a challenge. I usually have to battle the frizz factor regardless of the length.

Currently, my hair is growing out from a super short cut and is about chin-length, which calls for a little more maintenance than I am used to. Jane Carter’s Curl Defining Cream has made the daily maintenance of short natural hair easier for me.

What it is:
A curl defining cream that works best on freshly washed or at least rinsed hair. It is 98% natural and has nourishing ingredients that tame frizz and enhance natural texture of hair

How to use it:
To get the best results, follow the directions on the jar! Ms. Carter knows what she is talking about. Here are the basics:

• Apply to wet (preferably freshly washed hair) and do not rinse out.
• Sit under the dyer or use a hand dryer to facilitate the drying process. If you will be allowing your hair to air dry, use less product than you think you will need.
• Give the product some time, shorter and thinner hair will of course dry faster, and be careful not to over-apply the product.

My results:
I used Jane Carter’s Curl Defining cream for about a week straight on my short naturally curly hair. I did get the results I wanted. My curls were more defined and they held throughout the day without frizz!

I love the earthy scent of this product and the fact that is it nourishing. My hair felt much softer and had fewer tangles after using it.

I did also see more definition of curls.
Jane Carter has an excellent product for natural hair. It nourishes and delivers results!
