Product Reviews—Makeup: tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara–I’m Lash Happy

I have a top 5 list of makeup items that I MUST HAVE! One of those is mascara.  I love my mascara.  For years I had a brand that I used exclusively.  Then I changed, and I had another brand of mascara that I used exclusively. Now I’m on to a mascara that I think I will never veer from.  It will probably take a visit from God to make me change my ways.

I have been wearing tarte lights, camera, lashes mascara (regular and waterproof) for over a year now, and, hands-down, it’s the best mascara I have ever used. For a plethora of reasons…

But before I wax poetic over this mascara, here are the deets:

A lengthening, curling, volumizing, and conditioning mascara.

What it does:

My results:

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! 4-in-1 Mascara does what it says it will do.  I have straight eyelashes — they are curled, volumized, lengthened and conditioned.  You know how hard your lashes feel with certain mascaras?  Well that’s because they are full of junk that’s not only bad on your lashes, but bad on your eyes as well.  No such garbage in Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! 4-in-1 Mascara.

We all know that our lashes fall our and new ones grow in, but I never realized how much “fall out” I had with other lashes until I started using Tarte. When I feel my lashes while I’m wearing this mascara (yes, I know it’s weird), I love that my lashes bend without breaking, if you will.  They are soft, not brittle.

It’s easy to remove, so you know you are scrubbing the heck out of your eyes and then pulling mascara off, thereby losing lashes. Hate that.  Although, since I have been using tarte, I no longer have that problem.

Do yourself and your eyelashes a favor. Don’t buy that $30 mascara. And don’t by that $5.99 mascara.  Buy this one. It’s $19 and you will be a happy Tartelette, just like me.
