First impressions count. That’s why we are so attracted to those mega-watt million dollar smiles. No wonder tooth whitening treatments are so popular – from professional tooth whitening services to those you can do at home to white strips. To get professional results, you do have to pay a fortune any longer.
I was recently given an at home teeth whitening kit from that emulates the kind of experience you would have buying a professional tooth whitening kit. And believe me, as a coffee and red wine drinker, this was a much- needed experience!

I received my package from Smile Brilliant and spilled the contents on the table. I’m not much for reading directions, but take it from me, you need to read directions to get everything just right for your custom-fitted dental molds
So, first I get to play like a kid and make the putty that creates my molds. After mixing white stuff and blue stuff, I end up with light blue stuff that forms that I line the trays with and create my own molds – upper and lower teeth.
After creating the molds, I simply stuck them in the postage paid envelope along with a card of paperwork that identified me (and my teeth) and sent them off to the lab. In about a week, I received back my thin, clear tooth trays that fit perfectly. Hats off to the lab!
Also included in my kit were syringes of desensitizing gel and tooth whitening gel. Be sure to read the directions so you don’t have my experience of excess desensitizing gel running over in your mouth… Each syringe is good for 2-3 whitening sessions.
After my first session, I was amazed to see that my teeth were clearly whiter, at least one shade. And this has been the case after each of my subsequent whitening sessions – my teeth were clearly whiter. I also have a spot in my front tooth bonding that even got whiter, YAY! That truly bothered me.
The gels of course are not the tastiest things on the planet, but when you look at your results, it’s a minor imposition to taste them. I personally must be generally insensitive, as I used the whitening gel without the desensitizing gel at least three times. (This was because I wasted my first syringe due to not reading directions…)
I recommend Smile Brilliant for anyone who wants professional tooth whitening results at a reduced price.
