When I wear foundation, I truly love a liquid formula. It makes me feel in control—I can apply as little as I want without the look of heavy foundation. Invariably, however, I still need to pile on the concealer after my foundation, and if it’s warm outside, I need to do a little powder dusting for a finale. Before tinted moisturizer even existed, I was mixing my foundation and moisturizer together to get my desired look and product consistency. So, I suppose the same principle applies here, I had flawless with this foundation for hours. Initially, I didn’t really pay attention to what the 3 in 1 stood for, I just love makeup that has more than one benefit for me. Well, after applying the foundation, I skipped concealer. And the crazy part is that I didn’t even realize that I skipped my concealer until I was completely finished with my makeup application. I was like, “OMG, I forgot the concealer!” Then I looked in the mirror, and I was like, “OMG, I don’t need concealer!” Yep. It’s that good. And I have to confess that I NEED concealer to hide my under eye circles. The finish of the COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation is another lovely benefit. I am 55, and really loathe powder. However, at times when I do want that completely flawless finish to my makeup, a dusting of foundation is a must. But, CoverGirl is sheer genius. No need for powder with this multi-tasking foundation. And what I love is that I don’t look or feel “powdered.” As far as application, you only need a touch, as a little goes a very long way. The coverage is excellent, you get full-coverage without that caked on makeup look. I used the foundation in Amber Glow 805, which was a shade dark for me, but with a little smoothing, who cares?
