Right now, I’m wearing my hair in a partial hair weave with body wave hair. My hair matches quite well, but on occasion I want more curls than what I have with the weave. So, I’m glad I received a John Frieda® Loose Curls 1¼-Inch Barrel Curling Iron to use.
About John Frieda® Loose Curls 1¼-Inch Barrel Curling Iron:
Wild, loose curls come from a curling iron with a larger barrel. This 1¼-inch curling iron features advanced ionic technology, with high heat up to 400°F/205°C and true ceramic technology.
11 professional digital settings allow you to choose the best temperature for your hair type.
Use lower heat setting for fine hair; medium settings for medium hair; the highest settings for coarse or thick hair.
I found the John Frieda® Loose Curls 1¼-Inch Barrel Curling Iron very easy to use. But what I love the most is that my hair needs lots of heat to create lasting curls, and the John Frieda® Loose Curls 1¼-Inch Barrel Curling Iron heats up to 400º so I have the right temperature for my hair. Additionally, there is a window on the front of the barrel handle where you can see the temperature and adjust it according to your preferences.
The tip has about an inch of unheated area that makes it easy to hold for curling or releasing curls. This is such a great feature for a non-professional hair person like me! The iron is ceramic coated so curls come out smooth and frizz-free. The cord moves in a circular fashion, so you don’t have to worry about the cord getting all tangled up while you are curling your hair.
Most importantly perhaps, is the fact that my curls lasted for days. And this is on top of my sleeping on my hair, not rolling it up and pretty much continuing in my ordinary abusive ways.
