It’s my go-to hairstyle, so I am always on the hunt for a great product. I recently tried Jane Carter Solution’s Twist-out Foam for a twist-out style. Check out my results…
About Jane Carter Solution Natural Twist-out Foam:
Great for daily use, dries clean and soft without any residue. Great for all kinds of natural styling: Double strand twists, Bantu Knots, Twist Outs and is great for curl definition when used with Curl Defining Cream.
When I try a new product, I like to ensure that my hair is clean, so that way I have fewer variables for my experiment. So after conditioning and moisturizing, I applied the foam, then twisted my hair. I let it dry overnight as always, and untwisted in the morning.
In the morning when I took my twists out, I saw that I had great definition. However, as the day wore on, the definition I had in the morning began to disappear. I tried the Twist-out Foam again the next day with some curl defining cream and got better results.
I think this is a good product, but just not suited for my hair type. I generally like to have a stronger hold for my twist-outs, so I’m a little sad this product wasn’t ideal for me. This product is better suited for the natural girl, who twists or styles her hair everyday. I generally only twist once or twice a week at most). I give this product 3.5 Blings.
Con: Not long-lasting, needs to be used daily, suited for softer hair types
