I am always looking for something that can give my hair volume and will also define my curls and coils. I hate it when my curls and coils look flat and stringy. Big, fluffy hair is the way to go in this natural-haired girl’s book! African Pride Shea Butter Miracle (Moisture Intense) Bouncy Curls Pudding did just that and I was quiet surprised. Creamy products generally do not hold my curl pattern without the help of some type of gel, but this worked well all on its own!

Naturally Styling Suggestions:
Try a Two Strand Twist by applying pudding to damp or dry hair, twisting each section. The more you twist the more you can define the size and length of the curl. Air dry, blow dry w/diffuser or dry under hood. Untwist each sections for a fuller look or just leave twisted for tighter look.
When I received African Pride Shea Butter Miracle (Moisture Intense) Bouncy Curls Pudding for a review, I was pretty excited _ as I am always excited to try new hair products.
African Pride Shea Butter Miracle (Moisture Intense) Bouncy Curls Pudding is a thick, very lightly-orange pudding. It smells sweet and so yummy, with a lasting fragrance in your hair all day! It comes in a 15 oz tub, where you have to scoop the pudding out of the container.
I used African Pride Shea Butter Miracle (Moisture Intense) Bouncy Curls Pudding for my wash and go. I’m more of a ‘wash n go’ type of natural-girl. I like easy! I have a range of hair types on my head – ranging from 3b to 4c – so getting my hair to curl right can sometimes be a challenge. I was surprised when this held my curl pattern…let’s rewind a little bit. So this pudding is easily rakeable through the hair, my hair was already detangled before application but it did not re-tangle my hair once I started to use it.
African Pride Shea Butter Miracle (Moisture Intense) Bouncy Curls Pudding is moisturizing and non-greasy! Even though I added castor oil (you know because it’s getting colder here in NY, so you need a heavier oil) my hair was not weighed down at all. Second day hair was still moisturized and soft! Plus, my curls and coils were still intact. I must add that my hair felt light and my curls-kinks-coils were elongated (not down my back but significantly different – I always have major shrinkage). So to see the results, I was quite pleased; and as inexpensive as it is, this is more than a win – it’s natural hair product gold!
