I received a slew of CoverGirl Queen Collection Lipsticks to review some time ago and I have been putting off writing up my review, because it’s a pretty easy summation here—they are downright lovely.
Since the lipgloss revolution, I tend to only wear lipstick if it’s red or if it’s glossy. I had lost my appreciation for a great lipstick until I tried the Queen Collection.
This collection created by Pat McGrath comes in a five color categories:
Browns & Spices, Corals & Reds, Mauves & Berries Neutrals & Nudes, Pinks & Roses and Plums & Wines.
So here is the claim with Queen Collection Lipstcks:
COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lipcolor provides as much rich, true color as the leading department store lipstick. Our silk therapy formula infused with silk moisturizers helps maintain moisture levels so lips feel smooth and look gorgeous. The more you wear it, the more gorgeous your lips become!
- Rich shades made specifically for women of color
- Made with silk protein for smoother lips
- Moisturizing formula
What I found:
- Moisturizing feel
- True color
Even though i was resistant to use a color other than red or nude I found that the lipsticks from each color category looked beautiful with my skin tone—something I was not at all expecting. Even the deepest color, Fine Wine looks amazing.
I do have my favorites however—Scarlet and Nude Attitude.
I give Queen Collection lipsticks 5 Blings!
