With natural hair comes a need to make sure your hair is well-moisturized and detangled. I have searched high and low for a product that will both lock in moisture and keep my hair feeling soft to the touch.

Some of our favorite CeleBeauties like Solange, Raven Symone, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Corinne Bailey Rae always seem to have beautiful natural hair that looks like soft clouds of wonderful coils and curls. But how to achieve such amazing results on my natural tresses?

Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment may be the answer to that problem!

What it is:

I did a little research on the key ingredient and learned that Pequi Oil is wonderful for treating skin conditions such as eczema and chronic dry skin. It can be used on its own as a body oil or serum, but incorporates easily into lotions, balms, soaps, and countless other skin care formulations.

I decided to use Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment in my hair to help with styling and sealing in moisture. I followed my normal cleansing routine, using my usual products to create the proper foundation of healthy, clean hair and scalp. After washing, conditioning, and moisturizing my natural hair, I applied the Pequi Oil Treatment as a sealant.

Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment has a light scent that is neither overbearing nor interferes with the fragrances of other products you may use. This oil treatment does an excellent job of keeping my hair soft and holding in all the moisture. I don’t have a problem with split ends or frizz, so I can’t speak on that. But I am overall VERY pleased with my results!

My only caveat is that Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment is a bit pricey, $32 for a 2 oz bottle at Sephora.com. While this is definitely not a budget item, it did deliver as promised! So save your coins and treat yourself to Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment. Your hair will thank you!
