Pro Makeup Tricks: Skip Black Eyeliner in Your Water Line-Try This Instead
We all know that wearing black is not only chic, but it makes you appear smaller. Well, the same applies to makeup. We all love our black eyeliner, but using black eyeliner on the waterline, makes eyes appear smaller.
While our favorite CeleBeauties like Ciara get away with lining in the waterline, for everyday makeup, wear your black eyeliner under the waterline, right along your lashes. This little trick makes eyes appear larger. Be sure to use a pencil that is gentle to the eyes and has staying power.
5 black eyeliner pencils that we have road-tested and love:

Hi, Angela Garza ! What might help is applying eyeliners on the outside of the waterline and smudging it out. Not only will this make the eyes appear larger but it will brighten the eye area. I like to use this technique and play around with color. Perhaps, some purples blue and green liners.

This is exactly why I have trouble wearing eyeliner at all. I have always felt like eyeliner, especially black, closes up my eyes. I sometimes prefer white or nude in my waterline.
