Nerdy by Nature Product Review: BITE Superfruit Butter
I don't wear much makeup, but I wouldn't be caught without at least one lip balm at all times… along with my graphing calculator. I do have my standards, though. I need the right viscosity, packaging and taste when it comes to my lip balm.
I recently tried BITE Superfruit Butter, and it's pretty cool. I really like the logo of this brand. You can see where someone took a bite out of the "B". Clever.
About BITE Superfruit Butter, $18

This product is formulated with acai, blueberry, cranberry, and pomegranate, which have some of the highest oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) values of any food. The result is a butter that protects, nourishes, and moisturizes skin and lips, keeping them sensually smooth and alluringly soft.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petrochemicals
– Phthalates
– GMOs
– Triclosan
What else you need to know:
Each fleck of color in these butters is a whole piece of fruit.
I like the BITE lip butter, but it was a little thin, and a stronger fragrance would have been nice.
Would be better if it was a little more emolient. Tip: Make sure BITE Superfruit Butter doesn't get too cold though, cuz it won't move… really.
I liked that it had a color but didnt look pink on (thank goodness). BITE gets four stars for packaging; the matte black container looks cool and it is easy to use.
Bling Factor:
Pros: Lots of product in the pot, kept my lips moist
Cons: Not the exact texture I prefer, a bit pricy
Price: $18
Buy Again: Yes
Packaging: 4 Blings
Overall: 4 Blings
