Monday Morning Must-Haves: Black Up Concealer Palette
Being a mom to a toddler has its challenges — like getting enough sleep! My Sophia seems to keep me up late and wake me up early and it’s taking a toll on my under eye area. I know I need to get back to a good routine of using an eye cream, but for now I depend heavily on concealer. My latest and greatest find is Black Up Concealer Palette. And it’s definitely a Monday Morning Must Have!
About Black Up Concealer Palette $30.50:
A concealer palette with four shades to conceal blemishes and create an even complexion.
What it does:
Each of these three concealer palettes has been specially designed to match the complexion needs of women of color. Each contains four colors to conceal the most severe skin flaws. The palest shade neutralizes and illuminates the darkest areas. Light and medium shades correct imperfections, and the darkest shade can be used to contour facial features. The formula’s creamy, pigment-enriched texture offers an optimal level of matte coverage and an invisible result.
Why it’s a must have:
What I love most about the Black Up Concealer Palette is that it’s customizable. There are four colors in the palette so I can blend to my heart’s content. This is a perfect option when you have to conceal or color correct various places on your face — under eyes, a pimple mark or scar. So, I’m able to mix my colors to match my skin tone and even skip foundation on some days by just concealing where I need it.
The formula of the Black Up Concealer Palette is creamy, easy to blend and apply. But, even though it’s creamy, it dries down to a matte finish (which I love because I have oily skin) and you don’t need to powder over it. Additionally, I don’t have to pile on a ton of product for it to cover — the pigment in this concealer is powerful!
I have long days, so it’s important that when I put on makeup it lasts. Fortunately, with the Black Up Concealer Palette I don’t have to worry about it fading, smudging or coming off before my day is over. It goes the distance like I have to!
