Manly Man: Product Review—EmerginC Men’s P.M. Fortifier

So, I've said it before, and I will say it again—my razor bumps are a constant battle.  Fortunately, I have conquered the battle of the shave, thanks to an awesome shave foam that I discovered via Blinging Beauty.

I have even found some great moisturizers (that doesn't sound so manly, but hey, I was forced to use it) that keep my skin pretty smooth.  I work outside, so I have to keep my skin protected.

I am currently using a night treatment product that was made for men, and I really like it.  It's called EmerginC Men's P.M. Fortifier.

Here's the info about EmerginC Men's Fortifier:

An active, nighttime emulsion with key plant extracts, antioxidants, vitamins and cutting-edge anti-aging peptides.

use: Evenings, apply on clean skin. May be used with other emerginC serums or creams (apply serums first, creams after).
results: Hydrates, soothes, protects, improves tone and texture, fights visible signs of aging.

skin types: All skin types.

active ingredients: aloe vera, matricaria, natural moisturizing factor (rosa centifolia extract/lactic acid/sodium lactate/sorbitol/glycerin/plant urea/glycine/glucose/serine/allantoin, indian lotus, yeast, green tea, white, nettle, comfrey, calendula, arnica, magnolia, allantoin lecithine/carnosine/tocopherol/silybum marianum fruit

$49 for 50 ml

My results:

The directions state that the fortifier is for night use, but I have been using it in the daytime too.  I like that it gives me exfoliates my skin and flattens out my razor bumps. But it is different from a regular peel (yes, this manly man has had facial peels); it's not as drying—you don't have your skin flaking off but you definitely notice the difference within a few days.  P.M. fortifier is like a peel without the harshness.  I think it can be called a "slow peel."

EmerginC Men's Fortifier keeps the bumps on my neck dried out and the hair is easier to shave off without irritation.  I use moisturizer afterward and my skin feels great.

Bling Factor:

Pro: Lightweight, does not sting, soaks into skin, noticeable results in a few days, good ingredients

Price: $49

Buy Again: Yes

Con: Pricey, but worth it.

Packaging: 5 Blings—Airless pump which gives the right amount and keep product fresh
