Makeup Review: Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Devotion
About Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Devotion $7.99:
It’s time to put your lipsticks on notice. The Amore Matte Lip Crème has arrived. This revolutionary, highly saturated liquid-to-matte formula dries to a soft, velvety finish for fuller-looking lips. Its double-sided, flexible plush applicator hugs the contours of lips, working to lock in bold, opaque color. Non-sticky, smooth and ready for all-night wear (up to 16 hours!) our Amore Matte Lip Crème is the ultimate transfer resistant kiss-me-matte.
How to apply:
Using the Amore Matte Lip Crème’s double-sided plush applicator, glide the liquid matte across your lips smoothly, starting at the cupid’s bow in a criss-cross pattern, then along the outer corners of lips, and the bottom of lip. Next, fill in the rest of the lips as if you are connecting-the-dots.
Why I love it:
First off is the color — Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Devotion is the absolute perfect red, especially for deeper-toned brown skin girls like myself. It’s a true red with a blue undertone which works so well for the summer season, and I see myself wearing it through fall and winter.
Unlike other matte liquid lipsticks, this one isn’t so drying and my lips don’t look like they are about to shrivel up off my face. Rather, it’s matte finish that does’t dry your lips, and I am pretty much crazy about that. Also, this matte lip creme, lasts for hours, even when through my incessant talking. It even stays put when drinking, so it’s a must-have for date night or girl’s night out.
I have to mention the applicator wand too. It’s sturdy and makes application of the lip creme a breeze!
