Makeup Review: Elcie Micro Silque Foundation
Here are the details about Elcie Micro Sique Foundation $45
A lightweight yet build-able HD coverage liquid foundation that is made for every skin type, leaving the face to feel flawless, smooth and hydrated. This micro Silque foundation is long lasting, water-resistant and mild transfer-resistant, so you can enjoy a full days wear.
My results:
First off, Elcie Micro Sique Foundation has a wonderful feel and formula. It covers amzingly well (so well that I skipped concealer) and looks quite natural at the same time. I would consider the finish rather velvety — not too matte, nor too radiant. Two pumps from the bottle is plenty to cover my entire face — three if I’m trying to look extra special…
I was in NYC in August during 90 degree heat with ridiculous humidity. But you know what? My Elcie Micro Sique Foundation stayed in tact without fading or running. I’m particularly impressed with the fact that this foundation is tranfer-resistant, but my skin never feels like it “smothered”, rather it feel like “breathable.” I think this would be a great option for wedding or special occasion makeup — occasions when you need to look spotless, including your clothes!
I’m always curious about how foundations are going to work on my brown skin, and Elcie Micro Sique Foundation in Honey is a perfect match — it’s not too beigy and has a nice amount of yellow in it to work with my golden undertones.
Overall, I’m really loving Elcie Micro Sique Foundation, and I’ve started using it sparingly — I don’t want to run out!
