Makeup Review: BECCA Afterglow Palette

Makeup Review: BECCA Afterglow Palette

I love glowing skin. There isn’t much better that a fresh face, not heavily made up with a glowing finish. Not that overdone  fake finish like you see all over Instagram and YouTube, but a glow that looks like it’s from within. That my sound cliche, but it’s what I live for. So I am constantly on the hunt for makeup that does just that — give me a fabulous glow without looking overdone. That’s why I love the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfectors. So, when I got my grubby little hands on the Afterglow Palette, I was in makeup heaven.

Here are the details about BECCA Afterglow Palette $39.50:

Why I love it:

I love pairing a clean face with a bold lip and a fluttery eye (lots of mascara), and with the BECCA Afterglow Palette, it’s a cinch. I like wearing the Skin Perfectors alone, with bronzer and  with the mineral blushes in the palette and it always looks beautiful. (That’s not just me talking — I get so many compliments on my skin when I use this palette.)

What’s most amazing about the Afterglow palette is that the colors work on all skin tones. I didn’t  think I would be able to wear the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, but it melts right into my skin and looks beautiful. I previously reviewed the Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector, you can read that review here.

Additionally, the blushes have great pigment and show up on brown skin so well. I love that BECCA makeup wears for hours without looking shiny or fading. All too often, shimmer products end up looking like an oil slick on your face, but that’s not the case with the Afterglow palette.  If you are a fan of pretty, soft, glowing skin, the Afterglow Palette is a must-have in your life.
