Green Day Editor’s Pick: Korres Body Butter in White Grape From the Vinyards of Santorini
In days past, I haven’t been a huge fan of body butters. They have been thick, non-absorbent and greasy. Yuck. Of late, I have been able to hop on board the body butter bandwagon thanks to some fabulous brands like Korres. So let me tell you about how fabulous Korres body butters are. They are so fab you just want to dive into a vat full and slather yourself into a frenzy. That’s how good they are. Recently I was sent Korres’ latest body butter — White Grape From the Vinyards of Santorini and I tell you, other than drinking white wine, this is the best use of white grapes I have experienced. About Korres Body Butter in White Grape From the Vinyards of Santorini ($29): Smoothing and moisturizing body cream, ideal for dry elbows, heels and knees. Shea butter and Quince extract have softening, moisturizing and restructuring properties. Sunflower, Almond and Avocado oils nourishes the skin, thus restoring its elasticity and smoothness. My results: So it was kind of love at first application with this Korres Body Butter. It’s creamy, smells delicious and sinks right in my skin. I’m a brown girl, and we do not believe in ashy skin. No way. This body butter kicks ash in a big way – I mean hours later, no ash breakthrough. (That can be so embarrassing!) Additionally, my elbows and feet have benefited in the best way – they are soft to the touch. And for my heels in particular, it’s always a precarious situation when I apply lotion (or in this case body butter) and then put my shoes on. There is either that dreaded slip-and-slide thing going on inside my shoes or I get my shoes greasy – both of which are huge problems. No such issue when I use Korres Body Butter. I use this body butter on almost every inch of my body skin and I have noticed that even on my tummy where I have stretch marks, they are looking less noticeable. (Three kids folks…) And then there is the scent. Soft yet noticeable. Lingering, but not overbearing. The Santorini scent is almost unisex in my book, as I tend to prefer more masculine scents. With spring here and summer on the horizon, I would recommend putting Korres Body Butter in White Grape From the Vinyards of Santorini in your body care arsenal. It’s definitely a keeper for me.
