Friday Fragrance Find: ERH1012 Creates deadofnight with Helena Christensen as Creative Director

We love a fabulous fragrance and deadofnight is our latest Friday Fragrance Find. Helena Christensen partners with ERH1012 as Creative Director for the launch of their debut fragrance, deadofnight.

Artisanal perfumery, ERH1012 creates deadofnight, a captivating new perfume oil featuring the hypnotic ingredient, Oudh. A compelling scent for men and women, ingredients for deadofnight, including signature Oudh, are all harvested from one of the world’s only sustainable plantations located in Southeast Asia.

Model, photographer, and writer, Helena Christensen, shapes the brand’s identity as Creative Director, and legendary nose Christophe Laudamiel brings the fragrance to life. “When I first smelled a sample of the fragrance, I thought it was the most incredible, intoxicating divine scent,” explains Helena. “I immediately knew I wanted to be on board. It has been a few years now, and we finally have it out.”

About deadofnight:

deadofnight, a compelling fragrance for men and women, is a perfume oil imbued with the seductive power of oudh, a precious aromatic resin. Coveted and rare—and thus extremely valuable—oudh has been prized for centuries for its deeply complex scent and aphrodisiac effect. It takes time to develop as part of the natural maturation process of the exotic agarwood tree and is responsibly harvested in the Borneo rainforest.

deadofnight balances the impact of oudh with green top notes, floral hints of jasmine and rose and the nuanced warmth of sandalwood, amber and musk. The result is a sophisticated fragrance with a lingering sensuality that can be worn to devastating effect by both men and women.

Unlike alcohol-based sprays, perfume oils must be applied deliberately and carefully, encouraging an intimate ritual that enhances the appreciation of fragrance and its mystical allure.

Product Review—Hair: Phyto Secret de Nuit Intense Hydration Regenerating Night Cream

I have never used Phyto products before, when I received the Phyto Secret De Nuit to review, I thought it was a night cream for my face. Phyto Secret de Nuit Intense Hydration Regenerating Night Cream – the name and description screams FACE product to me, but to my delight, I received a wonderful night cream for my hair. Here are the details for Phyto Secret de Nuit Intense Hydration Regenerating Night Cream $38: What it is: A night restorative treatment for all hair types. What it is formulated to do: This powerful night cream regenerates the hair fiber and provides up to eight hours of intense hydration, nourishment, and repair. It creates a protective shield against free radicals and oxidation, and leaves hair feeling remarkably stronger, healthier, and shiner. What it is formulated WITHOUT: • Parabens • Sulfates • Phthalates My results: Before I put a new product on my face, I like to smell it. I pumped a small amount on my fingers so I could check the consistency and to take a whiff, see what I’m working with. The texture is nice and creamy with a light, lovely fragrance. I applied the small amount I had on my fingers to my face and went about the rest of my day. Imagine my surprise when I read the directions and realized this product is applied to your hair…oops! I’ve never used a night conditioner on my hair and to be honest, I was thinking I don’t want to go to bed with wet hair and wake up to a pillowcase covered in a gooey mess. Our editor-in-chief doesn’t allow the quick answer of ‘no’ for a product. Just as we have to review and say why we like a product, we also have to say why not. I knew I had to give it a try because like it or hate it, I had to say – why either way. The bottle has a pump dispenser, which dispenses the cream in small amounts. To get the ‘hazelnut’ size amount of product the directions call for, it takes about 3-4 pumps. I apply the cream to my hair by simply combing through my hair with my fingers, the cream absorbs quickly and does not leave my hair feeling wet. I repeat the process concentrating on the ends oh my hair, where I have the most damage and then twist it up in a bun before going to bed. The next morning, style as usual. I am thoroughly impressed. My hair truly feels like it has been intensively nourished, with my ends feeling silky and my hair in general feeling soft. I have found with my hair it’s best not to use the Phyto Secret de Nuit Intense Hydration Regenerating Night Cream on the day I have washed my hair, it does make my hair feel dirtier sooner, but that could be me using too much product as a little seems to go a long way; about third day is perfect for me. I didn’t look at the price of this product before I used it, but honestly, the cost is worth it. It actually works and my hair feels as if it is being repaired, not just masking my frizzed ends. It is paraben and silicone free also, and packed with good natural ingredients to replenish the condition of my hair. I use this 3-4 times a week and the condition of my hair has really improved – I couldn’t be happier. I now want to try other products from Phyto.
