Event Recap: Ricky’s NYC & Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Event

On February 11, 2015, I had the pleasure to attend and mingle at Ricky’s NYC & Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Event. As New York Fashion Week gets underway, Dark and Lovely Au Naturale invited Blinging Beauty to join them at Ricky’s for a special Q & A Session with Mezei Jefferson, Education Director of SoftSheen-Carson. They offered hair consultations, make-overs, complimentary champagne/food and product sampling.

It was a great time to meet new people and learn more about Dark and Lovely Au Naturale product line.

Bad Beauty Habits: Taylor Resolves to Wash Her Face

I don't have acne or breakout much, so I usually just wash my face in the shower with plain water and rush out the door (after drying off and getting dressed, of course). Bad Beauty Habits: Chelsea Will Stop Sleeping in Her Makeup

I need to stop sleeping with make up on now! (Editor's note–story was written before the first of the year) January 1, 2012 cannot wait. My plan to kick this awful habit is to make it easier to take my make up off at night.
