CeleBeauty Watch: Solange Goes Sophisticated Chic with Straight Hair, Smoky Eyes and Red Lips

Solange forfeited her fabulous ‘fro and revealed smooth straight tresses at the American Ballet Theatre Opening Night Fall New York City Center Gala on October 16, 2012 in New York.

In accordance with her red carpet rebel reputation, Solange kept her fresh take on fashion in full-effect wearing a Dolce & Gabbana multi-colored floral and cherub scene print cocktail length dress with a flared skirt.

Not only were her double-strap Dolce & Gabbana pumps dripping with gold embellishments, but Solange sported gold arm-candy, drop earrings and a large gold cocktail ring.

Solange’s usual “natural” makeup of less-is-more was replaced with smoldering smoky eyes and a hot red lip. Smoky eyes paired with red lipstick is a classic, timeless makeup , and Solange wears it with aplomb.
