Blinging Beauties Halle Berry, Jennifer Hudson and Ciara were quite the ones to watch at Revlon’s Annual Philanthropic Luncheon in Los Angeles Tuesday September 26, 2016. Despite the soaring temperatures, these gorgeous ladies managed to look quite stunning!

The event supported Revlon’s Women’s Health Mission and honored Dr. Dennis J. Slamon, director of the Revlon/UCLA Women’s Cancer Research Program at Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, for his achievements in cancer research. And there were plenty of celebrities and industry vets on hand to celebrate his and the beauty company’s accomplishments.

Bad Beauty Habits: Taylor Resolves to Wash Her Face

I don't have acne or breakout much, so I usually just wash my face in the shower with plain water and rush out the door (after drying off and getting dressed, of course). Even though I know that it's a bad beauty habit, laziness and a hectic schedule (can you say 8 a.m. classes?) make it a hard one to kick. I'm a Chemistry/Math major, so I know that dirty skin + no cleanser=breakouts. Not cute. Over my winter break, my (nonexistent) skin regimen totally backfired on me. With the school year starting back up, I'm going to break my bad beauty habit. I resolve to wash my face…with actual cleanser… at least once a day. Bad Beauty Habits: Marna Resolves to Quit Picking Her Face

This year I will work hard to not pick at my skin. Ever since I gave birth to my daughter 11 years ago, I suffered from adult acne. I know that picking at and constantly touching the skin on my face is a recipe for disaster. Hands and nails are the worst culprits of skin problems. So why do I do it? Its a nervous habit I am working hard to break. I remember in high school (ahhhhh the carefree high school years) I had crystal clear skin. I made a conscious effort to not touch my face. In fact, I would get very upset and scream on people for touching my face. I know, that was a little extreme, but look at my pay-off. My beauty resolution is stop using stop abusing my skin and to go back to the meticulous care I gave my skin high school and see what I can do to recapture the beautifullly clear skin of my youth.
