It’s hard to imagine Beyoncé without her long flowing blond extensions; when we think Beyoncé, we think hair–lots of hair. Over the course of her career she has changed her color up from time to time, going darker or redder or blonder, but never short, short. On her Instagram, Bey showed off a cute blond pixie cut which truly proves her versatility and real beauty. Anyone that can do the big chop and wear minimal makeup is a real beauty.

I’m in the minority. I’m all for change, but this one Beyonce did not pull it off….everyone is up in a frenzy and I just don’t get it. Beyonce is beautiful and talented. However, this is a fail. I read a comment and someone said she looks like Prince’s younger brother, and I agree. I can’t wait to see her change this.

I have been waiting for years to see her make this sort of change. All major pop stars these days (last 30 years) are about reinvention. I think Bey was overdue. YEY for the leap…a very cute, timely, chic leap.
