Finding an inexpensive cleanser that’s doctor approved isn’t quite as hard as you may think. CeraVe makes cleansers that replenish your skin with ceramides (adds lipids) comes at a great price and is dermatologist approved (and developed). And, after using the cleansers for s period of time, I can tell you they are Blinging Beauty approved.

New CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser Bar gently removes dirt, oil and makeup without disrupting skin’s natural protective barrier. Unlike any other cleansing bar, it also contains CeraVe® Moisturizing Cream to hydrate and nourish so skin is left soft. Non-comedogenic, non-drying and non-irritating. With ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Fragrance free.
This creamy bar cleanser gently cleanses skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Unlike most bar cleansers, your skin doesn’t feel dry and tight after using. After washing my face with this bar, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my skin was moist and soft. The claim is that it keeps your skin moist longer than other cleansers, and I’m sure it does because it contains hyaluronic acid and ceremides, but I can’t comment on that because I always follow up cleansing with a moisturizer.
While most bars tend to clean on the surface, CeraVe Hydrating Cleansing Bar does an excellent job of removing makeup and the usual grime of the day without leaving a residue as soaps can do. I even went so far as to try a cleansing cloth after using cleansing bar to see if my skin was truly clean, and it was.
The bar lasts for a few weeks, and for the price that’s a great deal and makes it an excellent choice for our Budget Beauty Tuesday.
